Ellipsoidal Mirror
Ellipsoidal mirrors have two conjugate foci. Light from one focus passes throughthe other after reflection. Ellipsoids collect a much higher fraction of total emittedlight than a spherical mirror or conventional lens system. Thus, they areefficient over a much broader spectral range and exhibit no chromatic aberrations. Therefore, they are less expensive than many IR lens materials. These products can either be on-axis or off-axis, and can be supplied in a varietyof materials; including BK7 glass, copper, fused silica, UV grade fused silica, nickel, and optical crown glass. Common coatings for ellipsoidal mirrors includenone (uncoated), enhanced aluminum, protected aluminum, dielectric, protectedgold, and silver. We can provide both on-axis and off-axis ellipsoidal mirrors, and specialize in productionof medium to large-size custom ellipsoids with exacting tolerances, highgrade surface finish and difficult coatings. Surface accuracy can be verifiedby the Foucault test or on the Zygo interferometer upon request. Please send us your specification or drawing and we will be happy to return a quotation ASAP. Our average response time is within 24 hours. Our optical designersare always available to assist with your special needs, and our factory in Chinais ready to meet your quantity requirements.Specifications:1) Diameter: Φ25.4 - 1000mm2) Material: BK7 (K9), or as requested3) Surface quality: up to 10-5 S&D, or as requested4) Surface accuracy: up to λ/20, or as requested5) Clear aperture: >90%6) Diameter tolerance: +(0.1 - 2)/-0.0mm (depends on the dimension)7) Focal length tolerance: ±(1 - 1.5%) (depends on the dimension)8) Edge thickness tolerance: +0/-10%, or as requested9) Bevel: (0.1 - 2mm) x 45° (depends on the dimension)10) Coating: as requested
Flat mirrors are smooth and highly polished. The flat surfaces are used for reflecting light. The actual reflecting surface is usually a thin coating of silver, aluminum, or other material. They may b
Hyperbolic mirrors are intended to form the image of object in focal plane, and normallyare used in astronomy telescopes, as well as other optical systems demandingbroadband reflection and excellent p
Meniscus lenses are often employed in conjunction with another lens to produce an optical system having either a longer or shorter focal length than the original lens.We specialize in the production o
Parabolic mirrors offer excellent correction of spherical aberrations, and are availablein both on-axis and off-axis specifications. On-axis parabolic mirrors producecollimated reflected light, while
Optical windows are used to isolate different physical environments while allowing light to pass relatively unimpeded. The selection of a window should consider the properties of the different optical
This kind of lens is used to increase focal lengths in existing systems. It is more suitable than equi-concave lens if the magnification lies in the range m0.2.We specialize in the production of mediu
