After cross linking, the heat and mechanical properties of the cable have beengreatly improved while its electrical properties are still maintained.The conductor operating temperature of XLPE insulated power cable is 90oC.Comparing to the conductor of the same cross section,the long-term permissible current rating will be raised 25% more than that of PVCinsulated. The cable has the advantages of simplicity in construction, lightnessin weight and anti chemical corrosion in properties.
