It can also serve for protecting motor and infrequent start at 400A or below.The series of circuit breaker is composed of 4 parts, such as insulation shell, operating mechanism, contact system and tripper with Y type as basic product. The operating mechanism of circuit breaker owns the function of rapid making and breaking of the contact. Its switching, switch out, re wrapping and free tripping positions are distinguished by the position of handle. J-/G-type circuit breakers have been derived and designed on the basis of Y type basic product.By modifying the contact structure of Y type circuit breaker, J type circuit beaker makes moving contact to rapidly expulse at the state of short circuit before the mechanism runs so as to improve the breaking capability. G type circuit breaker, as a repulsive current limiting contact system, is mounted at the back of bottom board of Y type with a parallel conductor connected in series. This system is longer than J type with a parallel conduct or connected distance so as to obtain rapider current limiting. Under the condition of normal making and breaking and within the range of tripper short circuit setting protection action value. All are fulfilled by Y type circuit breaker. Once high current or outsize short circuit current occurs, the repulsive current limiting contact will be expulsed by electromotive force to introduce electric arc and limit the current. While the contact is being expulsed, the tripper of the circuit breaker works and the mechanism breaks the Y type contact. Repulsive current limiting contact will return to the closing state for the decrease or loss of current.
