Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating element is a new industrial electrical heating material recently. It has unique oxidation resistance, suitable to be used in oxidizing atmosphere without protection of any inert gasses.Due to the nonageing property in resistivity, new elements and old elements can be connected in parallel on series, without matching the resistivity. It`s suitable to be used in the temperature range above 1,000°C, with the elements` surface temperature of 1,700°C and 1,800°C.It`s widely used in high temperature, super temperature furnaces and tunnels of electronics, chemical industry, metallurgy industry, ceramics, glass industry and scientific researches. It can be operated long-term and discontinuity, and also can be heated in tunnel furnaces with operating temperature 1,600°C and 1,700°C.This element has various shapes of U, I, W and L, and different specifications.
