Its superior patented designed structure can accommodate the vertical and horizontal displacements among bridge decks to prevent separation of bridge decks due to multidirectional vibration. Supreme Bridge Expansion Joint is well suited to high impact application, providing structure movements up to 3 inches. The expansion chips structure with slide function can gradually transmit wheel pressure, which renders driving comfortable and smooth without any jolt. If some expansion chips are damaged, only the broken parts are needed to be replaced; this reduces maintenance cost. Maintenance of Supreme Bridge Expansion Joint can be done by just blocking up some parts of the road, while other parts can still be opened to traffic, which is unlike maintenance of traditional expansion joints necessarily by blocking up the entire road, often resulting in traffic jam.
