The strength and speed of the individual machines and units result in a process that is easy to handle and has several options that anticipate different types of infeed material. One can think of monostreams of shredded refrigerators, computers or for example household appliances.The technology consists of washers, spinners, granulators, ballistic separators, air shaking tables, double water shaking tables, and special developed metal separation systems.The infeed material consists of the shredded plastic waste fraction of electronic and electrical equipment which will be fed in a infeedbunker with vibration transport Subsequently it runs through a metal separation systems (ballistic separator) to the granulator, which is a special version suited for metals. After this grinding step the material will go to the windsifter where dust and other light contamination will be removed. Then a washing and separation step will follow by the double water shaking table. Here metals, copper, glass and special plastics like flame retardants will be separated. The material will be transported by screw conveyor to the spinner where the flakes will be dried.
