Dianhong Black Tea
About the Dianhong Growing District: This is the general term for Yunan Black Tea that is classified into Dianhong Kungfu Tea and Dianhong Broken Tea. Dianhong is mainly produced in six areas along the banks of the Lancang River in Yunnan. these being Lincang, Baoshan, Simao, Xishuangbanna, Dehong and Honghe. These areas have excellent climates for tea growing and together with the rich soils of Yunnan produce a distinctive tea.Special Roast Dianhong Kungfu Tea: We use the one-bud and one-shoot hand picked bud leaves that go into the premium Dianhong teas as our ingredients. After wilting, kneading, fermentation and drying, the resultant dried leaves are then subjected to our own special internal heating roasting process to expel all excess elements such as the tannin, theophylline, raw and green waters from the tea leaf. This provides consumers with a safe, hygienic and healthy pure tea.Features of Special Roast Dianhong Kungfu Tea: The brew is a bright red color and the tealeaves chain together to form tight, strong and thick cords. The tealeaves themselves are completely intact with a rich black glossiness. The tea is a translucent red with a rich strong and refreshing fragrance that lasts. The settled leaves are an even bright red.
