It is type I collagen. Type I collagen is a heterotrimer [2-alpha-1(I), alpha-2(I)] of 300nm length being composed of two alpha-1 chain and one alpha-2 chain. It is carefully extracted at low temperature by physical treatment. This process enables the extracted collagen to preserve its strength and all its physiological properties. Natural Deep Ocean Fish Soluble Collagen® is free of contamination with Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE). Analytical Data Natural Deep Ocean Fish Soluble Collagen is sterilized by gamma-radiation and solute by 0.1% methyl-paraben solution.
