polypropylene floating fishing net rope
The most basic cordage structures is the twisted rope. Twisting rope to combine fibers was, for a long time, the most common way of making rope. When the final strands are twisted right-handed, the result is called “Z-laid” rope. This is the same orientation that the threads on an ordinary right-handed screw or bolt would have. When the strands are laid left-handed, the rope is called “S-laid.” High breaking strength (wet or dry)Light weight per unit of strengthExcellent elasticity and tensile recoverySuperior absorption of impact and shock loadsExcellent flex and abrasion resistanceGood flexibilityExcellent resistance to rottingGood sunlight and weather resistanceHigh melting point
