The Panasonic HX-WA3 Full HD Active Lifestyle Camcorder features a "Triple Proof" tough design, which means the camera is waterproof to a depth of 16 feet, freezeproof to a temperature of 14° F, and has a dustproof rating of IP6X. The 1/2.33" MOS sensor and a High-Quality Image Engine enable the HX-WA3 to capture Full HD 1920x1080 video and 16MP still photos. Full HD Video Recording The HX-WA3 renders video images in Full-HD (1920 x 1080), so you can save your memories in stunning image quality and watch them on a big screen TV. High-Quality Image Engine The High-Quality Image Engine enables both excellent image quality and a compact body. Its image-processing algorithms and architecture are designed for high-speed processing. Signal processing systems are optimized for noise reduction, and power consumption is reduced. Creative Control Creative Control comprises 12 filters, including Miniature Effect, One Point Color, Old Movie, Time Lapse Rec, Ghost Effect, Fish-eye Effect, HDR Paint, Soft Skin, Monochrome, Sepia, Vivid, and Soft. Recorded data can also be retouched. Intelligent 18x Zoom In addition to a 5x optical zoom, the High-Quality Image Engine lets you shoot videos with an Intelligent Zoom, up to 18x with no image quality degradation. iA and Intelligent Scene Selector iA senses the shooting conditions and automatically adjusts settings and activates functions that will deliver optimal results. iA makes it easy to capture beautiful, well-focused images. 16MP Still Pictures The HX-WA3 captures even tiny details in 16-megapixel high-resolution still pictures. Depending on the situation, you can flexibly shoot either high-quality 16MP photos or Full-HD videos. You can also capture 2MP still images while recording a video by simply pressing the Photo Shooting Button. Panorama Mode Panorama mode makes it possible to shoot a horizontal or vertical panoramic image with consequent shots taken by overlaying the previous picture. HDR Backlight Compensation Three images taken at different exposures are combined to record one optimal still image that suppresses blown highlights and blocked shadows.
