All-Welded Wire-Wrapped Screen
FeiYa well screens are manufactured by wedge shaped wire around aninternal array of longitudinal support rods. Each intersecting point of the wireis fusion welded. The v or wedge shaped profile wire wraps around thesupport rods over the full length of the screen creating a continuous slotopening, hence the screen allows water (oil) to enter your well freely inample quantities while at the same time keeps the majority of sand andgravel out of the well.Advantage:Continuous slot opening significantly increases the available open area,providing greater access to the water-bearing zone. Non clogging V shapedprofile wire, avoiding clogging, is self-cleaning and ensures an uninterruptedflow. Sand grains make only-two-point contact and do not wedge in thescreen`s inwardly enlarging slot. Large open area allows more water to enterat much lesser frictional head loss and the efficiency of well is improvedappreciably.
