Phenoxyzone Injection
Features:1) Composition:a) Oxytetracycline: 1gb) Chloramphenicol: 10gc) Lidocane chlorhydrate: 1gd) Dexamethasone: 0.1g2) Excipient: q.s. 100ml3) Uses: the association of two major antibiotics, the oxytetracycline andchloramphenicol, gives to Phenoxyzone a broad antiinfectious spectrum. All thebacterial infections are covered: navel ill, arthritis, metritis, respiratory diseases,enteritis, skin lesions, interdigital eczema, kerato-conjunctivitis, colibacillosis,salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, rickettsiosis. The dexamethasone isefficient against inflammation, pain and allergy. As a consequence, the animalrecovers more quickly due to the synergical effect onanimals (movement,respiration, digestion). The lidocaine permits a non painful injection.4) Indications: cattle. Used against gram + and gram - bacterial infections, ricketts,mycoplasmosis5) Administration: deep intramuscular injection6) Dosage: one daily injection, for 3 to 5 days in succession. 10 ml for 100kg weight7) Warning: not to be used on pregnant females during the last third of pregnancy8) Withdrawal time:a) Meat and offal: 14 daysb) Milk: 6 days9) Storage: to be stored away from light and heat10) Presentation: 50 ml, 100ml vial
