Product Name: Solar Water HeaterModel Number: SPHE-470-58 / 1800-20Place of Origin: ChinaThermosiphon solar collectors provide Mains Pressure pre-heating via a highefficiency copper coil heat exchanger installed within the solar collector tank.The way in which the Mains Pressure solar collector heats water is the sameas the non pressure solar collector. Instead of using the water in the tankdirectly, as the Non pressure does, the type uses a 45 60 copper coil heatexchanger inside the tank which provides more than 1.2m² of heattransfer area. When water flows though the coil, it absorbs heat from thewater inside the solar collector tank. The solar collector tank is thereforefor thermal storage. One advantage of this system is that almost no wateris introduced into the tank (apart from occasional topping up), so corrosionand scale buildup are almost totally eliminated. Tanks are designed for lowto medium pressure applications, using a gravity feed tank or pressurereduction valve. Direct connection to Mains Pressure water supply is notpermitted. Please check your local building / plumbing regulations regardingthe installation of water tanks.
