Featuring excellenthigh-temperature strength, good bulk stability at high temperature, high resistanceto oxidation and molten iron corrosion, it is first used as ceramic cup of largevolume blast furnaces. The sialon-bonded SiC product is made of high-quality SiCand appropriate amount of fine powder. Because of the optimum nitrizing-sinteredprocess, it can nitrize so deeply that nitrizing ratio is very high in the centralpart of the large size brick. It features excellent high-temperature strength,high thermo conductivity, low thermal expansion, high resistance to oxidationand molten metal corrosion. It is widely used for large volume blast furnacesas well as ceramic and electromagnetic industries.
