Magnesia Chrome Brick/High Chrome Brick
It is usually called magnesia-chrome brick, made of sintered magnesiteclinker and chrome ore and sintered at high temperature about1,600oC. Its mineral component is mainly periclase,magnesia-chrome spinel and a certain number of silicate phase. Theproduct is a kind of basic refractory with the advantages of hightemperature structural strength, excellent thermal shock resistance,high refractoriness and strong resistance to alkaline mass. Magnesia-chromebrick is extensively applied in non-ferrous furnaces, electric arc furnaces,open hearth furnaces, converters, torpedoes, vacuum refining furnaces,burning zones of cement rotary kilns, recuperators of glass kilns. Ourbranch produces a great amount of magnesia-chrome series bricks containingCr2O3 8-20% or even more according to the requirements of customers.The quality reaches the advanced level in China, finding the favor in thecustomers.The high-chrome brick is made of synthesized materials, concentratedchromite and appropriate amount of additive. After the reaction of chromitewith magnesia clinker in synthesized material, spinel phase forms, so theproduct features low apparent porosity, high crushing strength, goodcorrosion resistance and so on. It is widely used in non-ferrous furnaces.
