The TrustedFlash technology embeds digital rights management software right on thecard instead of relying on the player to dictate where and when content can be played. It helps pioneer flash memory storage cards used in phones and digital cameras.Content will either come preloaded onto a card (with the rest of the card`s capacityable to be used for other data storage) or as downloadable content. Compatible downloaded content can be transferred to a TrustedFlash card and can be played on any device that can read the card. The first batch of cards using TrustedFlash, due in November in the USA, will be pre-loaded with the Rolling Stones` new CD "A Bigger Bang." The 265MB card will cost USD39.95. Australians will have to wait until next year for the technology.
