0.6/1kV XLPE Insulated Control Cable
Property and function: for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated power cable, chemical method (Silicon Alkane) has been employed to transform the molecular structure of PE from linear chain into three-dimensional network, i.e. transforming thermoplastic PE into thermosetting XLPE, therefore greatly improved its heat-resistant and mechanical properties while maintained its excellent electrical properties.The conductor operating temperature of XLPE insulated cable is 90oC, higher than paper insulated cable, PVC insulated cable and PE insulated cable. It has excellent electrical, thermal, mechanical, and anti-chemical corrosion properties, and also has the advantages of simplicity in construction, lightness in weight, and no limitation of level difference along the route.This product applies to XLPE insulated PVC sheathed control cable for controlling and monitoring return circuit and protecting line with rated A.C. voltage 0.6/lkV and below.Properties of applications:1) Rated voltage of U0/U is O.6/1kV2) Long-term permissible operating temperature of cable conductor is 90oC3) Installation temperature of cable shall not below 0oC4) Recommended permissible bending radius:a) For non-armored cable, shall not be less than 6 times of the cable`s diameterb) For armored or copper tape shielded cable, shall not be less than 12 times of the cable`s overall diameterc) For soft cable with shield layer, shall not be less than 6 times of the cable`s overall diameter5) Conductor short-circuit temperature shall not exceed 250oC6) Max. sustaining period not exceed 5 seconds7) No restriction to level difference in installation
