Most of the gasoline powered vehicles have at least one O2 sensor, the newer vehicles after 1996 have at least two sensors.Its used to measure the amount of Oxygen in the exhaust system and sends information to engine computer.Sensor adjusts the air/fuel in rate 14:1 to the optimum status.
