THIS IS A 1980 Generation 1 BANDAI TAKARA TRANSFORMER JETFIREApparently Hasbro felt that the Autobots were in need of better air support against the Decepticons. They found exactly what they needed in the design of the Macross valkyrie (or Robotech veritech fighter if you follow Harmony Gold`s Americanized version of Macross). Leaving a lot of the legal technicalities out, Hasbro bought the rights to use the valkyrie design from Bandai and Jetfire was born. None of the contents have ever been removed as this is from my personal collection.
