1. History of the productColinex LA has been developed by Mercordi BVBA, a Belgian company dedicated to the R&D of innovative solutions to veterinary related problems in industrial poultry farming.2. Claims of the productColinex LA prevents E. Coli-infection in commercial broilers, layers and parental stock.Colinex LA lowers morbidity, mortality and antibiotic consumption and increases thus financial profit of treated flocks.Use of Colinex LA leads to LESS COST & MORE PROFIT.3. Efficacy of the productField trials with Colinex LA showed decreased mortality, decreased use of antibiotics and increased gross financial income.4. Use of the productColinex LA is to be administered trough the drinking water for a period of 35 days.Dosage in broilers is 10 to 20 ml per 1000 L drinking water,This means 20ml/1000L the first 20 days and 10ml/1000L the following 15 days.Dosage in layers and breeders is 10ml per 1000L drinking water all the way (35 days)Due to the length of the production cycle in layers and breeders it might be advisable to repeat a second and even a third 35-days period, taking into account an interval of 2 to 4 weeks between those successive administrations.5. Mode of actionColinex LA has been developed following the immunological bystander reaction and the principle of oral tolerance.Colinex LA modulates the immune system of the bird in such way that treated birds become more patent to get rid of eventual E. Coli infections more efficiently and at an earlier stage than non-treated ones.For this reason Colinex LA decreases significantly the risk of E. Coli infections during the production cycle of commercial broilers, layers and parental stock.6. Product benefitsDue to its low dosage (Micro Dosage Therapy) the amount of product needed, always stays relatively low.Colinex LA is a very stable formula and no special conditions are needed for conservation.7.
