This Croatia`s first white wine of protected geographic origin is the product of centuries-long tradition of grape wine cultivation and wine production on the island Korcula, which boasts unarguably the best white wine in the area.Golden-yellow in colour and with beautifully pronounced varietal aroma, Posip is distinctive for its fullness and gently bitter after taste, enriched with a well-balanced, lingering flavour. A modicum of ever present acidity ensures that is constantly refreshing and for long-term storage. The true connoisseur will readiliy recognize its characteristic fragrance, which is particularly prominent during cold fermentation.Best when cooled at 10 deg. Celsius, ideal complement for dishes such as scampi, shell fish, plainly boiled grouper, grilled gilthead as well as various roasts.
